Our mission is to reintegrate what life so often disconnects - body, mind and spirit: because where there is unity, there is peace.AmaniMassage was founded on the idea that massage isn't just a luxury service; it is a useful tool for alliviating pain, improving posture, increasing self awareness, as well as reducing stress levels. When viewed in this holistic sense, massage becomes much more than an indulgence, it becomes a way to address the physical, mental, and spiritual needs we often neglect. The Therapist

AmaniMassage is owned by Khadijah Hewitt. She is a graduate of The Academy of Massage Therapy, where she was an honors student. She is trained in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point and myofascial release techniques. In addition, she practices sports massage, Shiatsu, and basic Thai massage. Many of her past clients have remarked on the healing quality of her touch. She credits the love she has for the field of massage therapy, her belief in it's capacity to heal the body, and the desire to fulfill her life's purpose of helping others. You'll feel the difference when you experience Khadijah's expert touch, because she puts the best of herself into each service she performs.

~ The Amani Classic ~ 60 min - $60 / 90 min - $85 This full-body Swedish massage brings you to a state of bliss by decreasing muscle tension and increasing blood flow to the muscles. Gentle soothing techniques are used to calm the body and mind.~ Profound Muscle Release ~ 60 min - $85 / 90 min - $110A combination of Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point techniques target painful and chronically tight and knotted muscles and leave the body fully relaxed.~ Four-Handed Bliss ~ 75 min - $160Two therapists use coordinated and synchronized massage techniques designed to send you floating. Must be scheduled at least one week in advance.~ Shiatsu ~60 min - $70From the Japanese for "finger pressure", Shiatsu is excellent for freeing and rebalancing stagnant energy. ~ Thai-atsu ~ 120 min - $130This combination of Thai Massage and Shiatsu (accupressure) is designed to get energy flowing and bodies limber! Thai massage is often described as "lazy man's yoga" since the therapist helps the client into certain poses or stretches. Shiatsu frees stagnant Ki, or energy, to promote balance. A must try for all!~ Seated Meditation ~ 30 min - $30The perfect escape when you're pressed for time. This chair massage targets neck, back and shoulder muscles: the Tension Trinity. ~ Face and Hands Massage ~ 30 min - $25We hold tension everywhere - even in our faces! But not after this treatment!
